On May 27, 1979 the Presbyterian Church of Palm Harbor was organized and chartered with 142 people professing their love for God as revealed through Jesus and their love for one another. By the fall of 1981, the church was meeting in a newly constructed building at its current location.
Over the many years we've been meeting together, we've worked hard to provide meaningful worship service that includes our entire community so that they feel actively accepted, welcome, and connected.
There's no way to know what the future holds for PCPH, but we will meet it all through the mission and love of Jesus Christ!
REV. MALISSA GARCIA PASTOR PCPH
I was born and raised in Tampa and am a lifelong child of the Presbytery of Tampa Bay, growing up at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Rick Garcia, and together we are the proud parents of Amelia and Julia. I am an avid sports fan, especially cheering on Tampa Bay Buccaneers teams, and I enjoy spending time at the beach with my family. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from University of Memphis Lambuth and my Master of Divinity degree from University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. I currently serve as Pastor of Presbyterian Church of Palm Harbor and am deeply thankful to God for the opportunity to serve this congregation and community. I first began ministry at PCPH in the fall of 2011 as the church’s Youth Director and have continued to grow in leadership, pastoral care, worship, and community ministry through the years. My passion is helping people of all ages grow in faith, serve others, and experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ through the life of the church. I would love the opportunity to connect with you over coffee, a phone call, or a visit and get to know you more as a pastor serving the Palm Harbor community. Whether you are new to the area, exploring faith, searching for a church home, or simply looking for someone to walk alongside you in life, I would be grateful to connect with you.
